My Guide to the Coolest Antique, Resale & Thrift Stores in Houston, TX
My Top 5 Favorite Antique, Resale, and Thrift Stores in Houston, TX.

This year, I have made it my mission to find “the coolest antique stores and thrift shops in Houston, TX.” I absolutely love exploring new places and even scoring a few hidden gems along the way.
How it started:
The reason why this whole series started was because earlier this year, I had asked my followers on TikTok where a good thrift store was in the Houston area, and no one had any suggestions. However, there were many comments asking me to let them know when I found one, because they too were wondering the same thing. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and started searching for myself. Along my journey of posting and visiting places I had been to so far, everything snowballed, and I ended up gaining followers who were also interested in the same thing! They gave me so many recommendations, and I was able to go and explore more places for you guys, so thank you to everyone who commented their favorite places.
The List:
Many people who have been following this series have asked me to compile a list for them, so today that’s exactly what we are doing. Here are my top favorite antique, thrifting, and resale shops in Houston, TX!
I'll also provide videos incase you don't feel like reading all this*
1. Heights Antiques on Yale
2110 Yale St, Houston, TX 77008
This place is full of so many hidden gems! I can never leave empty-handed, so far I’ve gotten some beautiful vintage blue willow dishes and genuine silver plates. From Midcentury and Modern Furniture to Antique trinkets and art, they have 10,000 sqft of lucky finds. They also have great parking and the store is two-story, so don’t forget to go upstairs (that’s where I find the best finds.) There are so many different booths, you can spend hours in here if you want to. Now all you need is an iced latte and you and your friends will have the perfect girls’ day!
2. The Marketplace Antiques and Collectibles
10940 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77043
If you thought the first place was big, this place is gigantic. A whole mall dedicated to vintage antiques and collectibles, I really did spend hours here. When you go, just remember to bring your walking shoes, there are two buildings and each contains dozens and dozens (maybe even hundreds?) of booths. Each booth is curated to wonderfully, there’s definitely something here for everyone! Plus if you get hungry no problem, there’s a small restaurant inside with spacious seating. The only downside is they are open Friday-Sunday (I learned this the hard way), but on the bright side the parking lot is huge.
3. Emmaline’s Collective
Currently in Houston but moving to Spring
I’m sure by now you’ve seen this up-and-coming local favorite on your “for you” page. Emmaline’s collective is every girl’s dream, with curated art pieces and frames that look like they just came out of the show Bridgerton, and dainty teacups and plates you’ll want to buy everything. Her prices are also amazingly affordable. The shop is usually open several weekends a month, but you have to check the shop’s Instagram to see when (it changes monthly). I’ll be so sad to see this store go next month, they are moving to Old Town Spring to a bigger location, but I guess that means we will have to take a trip.
4. Bayou City Resale
503 Dunlavy St, Houston, TX 77006
I haven’t seen anyone talk about this place and in my opinion, it’s definitely underrated. I have found some of my best antique/thrift finds here! They have the coolest vintage designer clothing finds and they also sell new dancewear, leotards, tap shoes, dance shoes, you name it they have it all. The prices are also insanely good, I even found a sewing machine here (talk about a unicorn.)
5. Brand Marca Thrift
11625 Southwest Fwy Houston, TX 77031
A thrift lover’s dream! This store is curated so personally, they have clothes for everyone, men, women, and children. Their pre-loved clothing is full of well-known brands. I myself have snagged some Levi’s, Ralph Lauren, Nike, Banana Republic, and Guess items, I even picked up some Carhartt Jeans! This place is definitely worth a trip so what are you waiting for?
I hope you are planning your next shopping spree after reading this blog post! I’ve only just started exploring places this year so as I find more of my favorites I’ll be sure to update this list, if you made it this far ily and make sure to comment you favorite places so I can visit them (:
