My Top Three Coffee Shops in Houston, TX
Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the United States, which explains why Houston is also known for having some of the best food, (coffee shops included!) I’ve spend five year making it a hobby to try every coffee shop in Houston and I’ve come to the conclusion that you really can’t go wrong with most of the local places here. I’m the type of coffee lover that actually likes the taste of espresso, my go to order is just a plain almond milk latte. So with that said, here are some of my favorite coffee shops in the Houston area to work, socialize and to just enjoy an amazing cup of coffee.
Un Caffe

If you’re looking for good coffee and good vibes, this place is your new favorite spot. This local gem is both a coffee shop and a roastery so their coffee always tastes fresh. They offer a variety of plant milks ( including NUmilk), seasonal drinks and teas. So there’s something for everyone, plus they have a lot of seating if you’re looking to work at a local coffee shop.
Giant Leap Coffee

This one is for the latte lovers. They have the best matcha lattes in the city, seriously. If you’ve been looking for an unforgettable matcha experience, this is the place. As expected, their coffee is also great and they have unique seasonal drinks with options like hibiscus & rose syrups. Their seating is mainly outside but on a nice sunny day, it is a total vibe.

Did someone say pumpkin spice latte? This hidden gem has the best selection of seasonal drinks, with pumpkin spice and caramel candy apple lattes to snickerdoodle shaken espresso and so much more. With cozy seating and friendly service you’ll be sad you didn’t try this place sooner, I know I am.
