Where to Shop for Cute and Budget-Friendly Graduation Dresses

With graduation only three months away it’s a good idea to start shopping for your dress or graduation outfit. Plus with the recent tariffs imposed you might have to pay more than the dress is worth if you shop from some places based outside of the United States. However, there’s still a ton of cool shops based here in the U.S (or brands that have warehouses in the U.S) that have endless dress options! Before writing this I personally researched and tested all of the options, so if you’re feeling stuck and don’t know where to look, you’ve come to the right place! Here are a list of my favorite options for cute and affordable graduation dresses:
Lulu’s
Lulu’s has dresses for any occasion, graduation, bridal, birthday, etc! I actually got my graduation dress and engagement dress from here so safe to say I love Lulu’s! Plus they are based in California so they have one day shipping options for any last minute fashion emergencies (yes I learned this the hard way and had to use this shipping option when I graduated.) Francesca’s
While the other options are known for their online presence, Francesca’s has many in person stores you can check out and try on their clothes! I actually got my dress here for my university graduation pictures so if you’re a procrastinator like me and you need a dress the same day, you can run in and grab one from the many options available in store. They have sales all of the time and have rompers, jumpsuits and different dress options depending on the seasons. Based in Houston, TX you can usually find them in malls but if not you can always order from their online website, plus they have student discounts! Check them out here: Francescas.com
Windsor
Windsor is also known for their in person stores at malls, so like Francesca’s if you’re low on time you can just walk in and grab a graduation dress. They have several different options ranging from formal dresses to casual outfits. Windsor is located in California so if you’re online shopping they also have fast shipping options. Amazon
Amazon fashion has really stepped it up over the years and you would be surprised on how many different options they have now for graduation dresses. With next day, two day shipping and easy returns they may be a good back up option. Check them out here: Amazon.com
**For these options they are based outside of the U.S but have warehouses based in California so while I’m confident you’ll get them fast, I’m not 100% sure if they are tariff free. I have gone through the checkout process of each of them and none of them include tariffs in the checkout so buy at your own risk and let me know in the comments. (:
Selfie Leslie
Selfie Leslie is another one of my favorite websites to buy stylish dresses! Not to be dramatic but they have hundreds of different dress, romper, and jumper options for all occasions! I got many bridal outfits here and referred them to multiple friends for graduation dresses. Selfie Leslie was founded in Australia but recently came to Los Angeles, California in 2016 so they also offer quick 2-3 day shipping options! Hello Molly
Hello Molly is similar to Selfie Leslie, with them both being founded in Australia but opened warehouses in California in 2023! They have everything from formal, graduation and dresses for any occasion to swimwear, shoes and accessories. They also have 2-6 day and next day shipping options as well! Oh Polly
Oh Polly is another fan (and personal) favorite! I’ve gotten outfits and dresses from them for multiple occasions, plus they even have student discounts! Oh Polly is a UK-based fashion brand but has offices in Los Angeles, so they have quick shipping options as well. Check them out here: ohpolly.com
I know graduating is already super exciting yet stressful even with final exams and/or job interviews, so hopefully I made finding where to shop for a graduation dress a little easier for you.
